The Courage to Connect. The Power to Create.
Courage2Cre8, Inc. is a Veteran-Founded 501 (c) 3 nonprofit arts organization that fosters Connection, Inclusion, and creative expression through community based art, with a focus on transforming shared spaces through creative placemaking.
Creative Placemaking in Action.
At Courage2Cre8, we use art to transform shared spaces into living galleries fostering connection, inclusion, and creativity where people live, work, and gather.
Through our Atlanta Loves Art™ shows and community collaborations, we bring artists and neighbors together to reimagine public space and strengthen the cultural fabric of our city.
Heart 2 Art.
Heart2Art is our ongoing interview series that captures the stories behind the art, highlighting artists, their courage, and the communities they uplift.
Co-produced with Atlanta Loves Art™, the series celebrates the voices that shape our culture and remind us that art is more than what we see.

Founding Story.
Courage2Cre8 was born from the journey of a U.S. Coast Guard Senior Chief who, after 20 years of military service, faced the challenge of finding new purpose beyond the uniform. Through art, this journey revealed not only a path to healing but also a powerful way to connect with others and transform shared spaces into places of meaning.
What began as a personal act of courage has grown into a movement that amplifies the voices of artists, celebrates their resilience, and strengthens communities through creative placemaking.
Connect.
