Founding Story.
Courage2Cre8 was founded by a retired U.S. Coast Guard Senior Chief who, after 20 years of service, sought to redefine purpose beyond the uniform. During this transition, art emerged as a powerful tool for grounding, healing, and reconnecting with community.
Recognizing the broader need for accessible, inclusive creative spaces, Courage2Cre8 was established to transform personal experience into public impact. Today, the organization leverages proven leadership and mission-driven values to advance creative placemaking, support artists, and strengthen communities through accessible public art.
